Description: VpCI®-308 is a Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibitor inpowder form for corrosion protection of ferrous andnon-ferrous metals in recessed areas, interior cavitiesand voids.In addition to enhanced multimetal protection andwater solubility, VpCI-308 also improves environmen-tal friendliness via increased biodegradable proper-ties.

Detailed description

Application: •Provides up to 24 months of continuous protection incontact and vapor phases•Creates monomolecular inhibiting layer•Vapor phase inhibiting action protects inaccessibleand recessed surfaces•If VpCI layer is disturbed by moisture or opening theenclosed space, the layer is replenished bycontinuous vapor redeposition•Does not contain silicates, phosphates, nitrites orheavy metals•Biodegradable•Little or no surface preparation is required•Easy to apply•VpCI layer does not need to be removed prior toprocessing or use•If necessary, powder is easily removed by air gun orwater rinse•VpCI layer does not interfere with operation ofmechanical components•Provides multimetal protection•Meets MIL I-22110C
